A Manufacturer’s Licence allows manufacturing of the liquor to which it refers. It also allows wholesale of the manufactured liquor from the manufacturing premises.
This licence is required by brewers, cider manufacturers, distillers, rectifiers or compounders and sweets makers.

Manufacturer's Licence

Wholesale Chemist and Druggist to sell Spirits

Authorises to sell rectified spirits of not less than 80% Vol., for medicinal purposes to duly qualified medical practitioners and duly registered pharmaceutical chemists, and chemists and druggists and to persons requiring the spirits for use for scientific purposes in any laboratory. Must be delivered only in closed vessels.

Marked Fuel Trader's Licence

Section 101, Finance Act 1999 requires all mineral traders who produce, sell, deliver or deal in, on any premises, Mineral oil (ie. hydrocarbon oil, liquefied petroleum gas and substitute fuel) for use as a propellant to take out a mineral oil traders licence annually in respect of each such premises.

Ministerial Consent for works at/near a National Monument

Section 14 of the National Monuments Act 1930 (as amended) requires that the consent of the Minister is required for archaeological works at or near a national monument in the ownership or guardianship of the Minister or a local authority or to which a preservation order applies.  The Minister is required to consult with the Director of the National Museum of Ireland in relation to such an application for consent.

Ministerial Directions for archaeological works on an approved road development (and prison development under the Prisons Act 2007)

Requires that all archaeological works on an approved road development (a road development approved by An Bord Pleanála under either or both Sections 49 and 51 of the Roads Act 1993, as amended) must be carried out in accordance with directions issued by the Minister, following consultation with the Director of the National Museum of Ireland.
In addition, Ministerial directions are also required for archaeological works carried out in connection with development under the Prisons Act 2007.
