About the National Point of Single Contact
The National Point of Single Contact (NPSC)
The National Point of Single Contact (NPSC) has been established as the point of single contact for Ireland as required under the Services Directive 2006/123/EC (213KB PDF). The role of the NPSC is to assist service providers who wish to provide services in Ireland, by connecting them with the relevant competent authorities and helping them complete all relevant procedures.
Information on the NPSC
Information on selected service activities and additional general information on cross sectoral procedures relevant for service providers can be found on the navigation menu to the left of this page. As well as information on service activities these pages contain contact details of the relevant competent authorities. Service providers can use these details to deal with competent authorities directly.
Contacting the NPSC
Service providers should specify when contacting the NPSC whether they wish to avail of their rights under the Services Directive to establish here or provide cross border services to Ireland, or whether they are seeking information regarding a service area.
